We started because too many brilliant students were getting rejected — not because they weren't qualified, but because they didn't have the right guidance behind them.
Origin
The Study Abroad Consultant was founded with one mission: give every qualified African student a fair shot at world-class education. Too many talented young people were losing money to failed visa applications, choosing the wrong universities, and navigating a complex system without expert support.
Over a decade, we've placed 700+ students at universities across six countries. That track record is not luck. It's the product of deep expertise, systematic processes, and admission-office relationships built over years.
Today we remain focused on what we do best: helping African students — and only African students — navigate the entire study abroad journey from first call to first day on campus.
